This year British Airways will serve 26 destinations from London City airport of which 24 are operated by BA CityFlyer and are perfect options for both business and leisure travel. BA CityFlyer will operate services to Florence and Rotterdam for the first time in 2014. With London City centrally located with excellent transport links to the City of London, Docklands business district and London's West End, and with check-in closing only 15 minutes before departure for passengers with hand baggage, it is a great time saving travel option.
BA CityFlyer currently operate a fleet of fifteen aircraft comprising of six 76-seat Embraer 170s, eight 98-seat Embraer 190SR' and a 50-seat Saab 2000. The company will see further fleet expansion in 2014 with three additional Embraer 190s and one further Saab 2000 joining the operation. The new generation Embraer aircraft are fuel efficient, less harmful to the environment and provide exceptional comfort for our customers, always guaranteed an aisle or a window seat with generous legroom. Our routes to and from London City Airport are mainly business routes offering a two-class cabin service on European destinations.
